    • Cotton

Karma Kraft has eight choices when it comes to cotton qualities: All are very nice qualities and your choice should depend upon your final use for the fabric and which one is best suited for you personally. If you have questions about your selection, please feel free to ask us.

A cellulose fiber collected from the perennial shrub from the genus Gossypium; predominantly G. hirsutum (upland or long-staple cotton), but also some G. barbadense (Pima or extra-long-staple cotton). A vegetable fiber consisting of unicellular hairs attached to the seed of the cotton plant. Most cotton is colored a light to dark cream, and its chemical composition is almost pure cellulose.

    • Linen

Karma Kraft has a really nice 100% linen fabric (medium weight) and a 50% linen/50% cotton blended fabric (medium weight). Both have great hand and print well.

Linen is the term used for fabric made from flax. Linen is generally favored for its fine, strong, cool-wearing properties. It is commonly cursed for it's wrinkling. In knitwear, linen is combined with other natural or synthetic fibers for improved strength and resiliency.

    • Polyester Satin

Karma Kraft offers one light weight satin soft polyester fabric. This fabric is strong and durable with great luster and hand.

A manufactured fiber in which the fiber-forming substance is any long chain synthetic polymer composed of at least 85% by weight of an ester of dihydric alcohol and terephthalic acid (FTC definition). The polymer is produced by the reaction of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid or its derivatives. Fiber forms produced are filament staple and tow. The process of production resembles that of nylon. Polymerization is accomplished at a high temperature using a vacuum by one of two methods. (1) The glycol and a terephthalate ester react to form a polymer chain releasing methanol; or (2) the glycol and terephthalic acid react directly to form the polymer with water as the by-product. As with nylon the filaments are spun in a melt-spinning process then stretched several times their original length which orients the long chain molecules and gives the fiber strength
